1. Skoda Octavia, VW, and other cars - Red warning flashing coolant light. Temperature is shown on dashboard; I'ts flashing to signal low coolant level
It looks more less like this:
Remove cap (ON COLD ENGINE)
If you look inside you'll notice two metal rods/probes
After years those are getting covered by layer of dirt, limescale and so on. This prevent sensor to working correctly. Rods are giving wrong signal
Simplest and easiest way to fix it is to rub off the dirt using tiny flat headed screw driver. You can either remove the reservoir and clean it in your sink, or suck off coolant from reservoir do the job, remove the dirt from rods, reservoir and top up coolant back.
Check also plug and pins. You may clean them with soft wire brush and apply some electrical spray.
It this wont work then just replace the reservoir. It's just about £10
2. Ssanyoug headlamp removal:
It took me good 15minutes (that is long!!!) before I figure it out.
No comment needed, just have a look on pictures. Well, maybe one comment - on top of lampthere are bolts to be removed too (these are visible):
Thanks!
