Vauxhall Opel Zafira B spring coil shock absorber replacement coils shocks

In this post I will show you how to replace front coil in Zafira B. You may use the same steps to replace shock absorber and strut.

 ABS sensor or AKA speed sensor wiring

 Brake fluid hose

 I used mini car jack to lift and adjust the level of suspension (height) in order to remove drop link and then to put it back

 Now this one is interesting. A plastic clip holding the strut/shock on the position

A bit of safety. I always use 2 snap locks for each clamp. In case it slip off it will stay close to coil and wont be flying all over the place. A little thing but make your work much safer

Torques:
Bottom of shock: 105-110 Nm
Shock nut: 62 Nm
Drop link: 26-33 Nm depends on car/manufacturer suggestion and so on.
