cigarette lighter fixing, cigarette lighter in armrest box, lack of power in centre console grand scenic, no light in armrest, armrest compartment, armrest glove box, grand megane mk2 2 II

Simply step by step how do to do it.

You will need a socket with pretty much extension


Light switch does not work and there is no power in cigarette lighter






Disconnect the power source wire



Removed armrest compartment



Two extra bolt under plastic covers







Check the plug for rust








Light switch


1 of the electrical lamellae is snapped, to small to precise to be fixed so it has to be replaced (not worth it)





Now it is time for cigarette lighter socket:








Needs to be cleaned





Time for a test


It works

    can you please add a description to the pictures. and I have seen posts about this problam and some folks say that there is a fuse for the 12v under the left seat, do you know anything about that?
